In our longest, deepest dive yet, we look into that slippery character Fred Crisman. Somewhat like a cross between Grandpa Simpson and Forrest Gump, Crisman was there for it all – the first recovery of UFO metamaterials, implicated in the assassination of JFK, a witness to the strange Deros of The Shaver Mystery, and involved in a litany of “bunko schemes.”
While we will go through the more familiar points of Crisman’s story, this episode dives deep into his FBI file and period newspaper articles, connecting the dots as much as possible on this bizarre individual who would later be fictionalized on the series Twin Peaks. Come along for utter madness as we provide the rest of the story often missed when looking at Crisman from just one angle, revealing one of the strangest characters ever to enter UFOlogy and conspiracy lore.
